China Express CRJ-900 jet overruns runway, injuries reported
Four out of 73 people onboard the China Express Airlines Bombardier CRJ-900 suffered minor injuries during the evacuation after the jet overran the runway during landing at Aksu Onsu Airport (AKU), China on August 29, 2021.
The CRJ-900 jet, registered as B-601Z, arrived AKU having carried out a regular regional flight G54394 from Korla Airport (KRL), the data from Flightradar24.com indicates. Seconds after a touchdown at the final destination, at around 6.07 pm. (UTC), the jet experienced a runway excursion. The plane stopped on the soft ground around 76 meters past Runway 27, the Xinjiang Airport Group confirmed to the local media.
Four out of 73 people on board, including 69 passengers and nine crew members, were minorly injured during the plane evacuation via slides. No major damages to the 3.1-year-old plane were reported.

After the incident, the Runway 27 of AKU airport was temporary, while the jet was towed away from the incident area.
The Civil Aviation Authority of China currently undergoes investigation on the potential reason that caused the incident
