ALC delivers new Airbus A321neo LR to Peach Aviation
A subsidiary of Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA), low-cost arm Peach Aviation, has expanded its fleet by leasing a new Airbus A321-200neo Long Range aircraft from the Air Lease Corporation (ALC). This is the first A321neo LR delivery of two existing orders.
A new Airbus A321-200neo Long Range aircraft will add to Peach’s existing fleet of two Airbus A320-200neo aircraft.
“ALC is delighted to be the first to introduce the A321-200neo LR to Peach Aviation,” said Chi Yan, Senior Vice President of Air Lease Corporation.
Peach Aviation’s new Airbus A321-200neo LR is powered by CFM LEAP-1A32 engines. The A321neo LR provides an extended range, capable of flying routes of up to 4,000 nm (7,408 kilometers) with 206 passengers by utilizing extra fuel in three Additional Centre Tanks (ACTs), according to Airbus.
“The A321neo LR will provide key enhancements to the airline’s fleet operations as Peach continues to add the most modern, fuel-efficient aircraft to their expanding fleet and offer the highest quality passenger experience,” Chi added.
