As international borders around the Asia Pacific region start to relax, Singapore is extending its Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) to 5 new cities:

  • Hong Kong – starting February 25, 2022

  • Manila – starting March 4, 2022

  • Phuket – starting March 4, 2022

  • Dubai – starting February 24, 2022

  • New York – starting March 27, 2022

Under Singapore’s VTL program, eligible fully-vaccinated travelers from VTL-approved countries / cities can enter Singapore quarantine-free as long as they meet all VTL requirements, which includes undergoing a PCR or rapid antigen test, among other prerequisites.

Meanwhile, those who are from Singapore can travel to VTL countries without quarantine provided they meet each VTL country’s specific requirements

In late December 2021, at the height of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, Singapore suspended the sale of VTL tickets.

The announcement of additional VTL countries came as the Singapore Airshow, one of the most attended aviation networking events which was quieter than usual this year, concluded on the 18th of February 2022.
