China refuses to supply Russian carriers with aircraft parts
China has refused to supply Russian carriers with aircraft parts, Russian news agency Interfax reported, citing Valery Kudinov, head of the Airworthiness Maintenance Department at Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).
According to other news agencies, including UNI India, Russia will look for aircraft part suppliers in Turkey, India, or other countries instead.

This was stated by Valery #Kudinov, head of the Airworthiness Maintenance Department of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia), during a conference on aircraft maintenance.
In his speech, Kudinov also listed the number of foreign-registered aircraft that were recently re-registered in Russia.
However, later in the day Rosaviatsiya issued a statement saying that at least some of Kudinov’s statements do not reflect the facts.
"The statements of the head of the Airworthiness Maintenance Department of Rosaviatsiya, Valery Kudinov, made at the MRO Russia & CIS conference on March 10, 2022, regarding the number and types of aircraft registered in the state register of civil aircraft of the Russian Federation, do not correspond to reality," Rosaviatsiya said, according to Russian state news agency TASS.
"Also, other statements by Kudinov regarding the relationship between business entities - Russian airlines and aircraft lessors are not true," Rosaviatsiya added.
However, it is unclear whether Rosaviatsiya is refuting Kudinov's comments about the relationship between Russian airlines and Chinese aircraft part manufacturers.
This announcement comes just days after Russian state news agency TASS revealed that Russia may allow third-party companies to maintain its commercial passenger aircraft.
Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Bombardier, have suspended support to Russian airlines, including the supply of spare parts and jet maintenance, due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
