Emirates upgrades Dubai-Narita route to A380s after Japan reopens to tourists

Emirates is enhancing and upgrading its route from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Narita International Airport (NRT) with the deployment of its flagship A380 aircraft starting November 15, 2022.

The Dubai-based airline said that since the Japanese government announced the easing of restrictions to enter the country, it had seen a spike in bookings for Narita and Osaka.

In September 2022, Japan announced that beginning October 11, 2022, it will drop its COVID-19 travel restrictions, making it easier for travelers and tourists to enter the country.

EK318 will depart Dubai at 02:55 local time and arrive in Narita at 17:20 local time.

The return flight EK319 will depart Narita at 22:30 local time and arrive in Dubai at 05:30 local time the following day.

Emirates currently flies to three Japanese airports from Dubai: Narita International Airport (NRT), Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND), and Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX).

2022 marks the airline’s 20th year of flying to Osaka.
