Textron Aviation announced on October 17, 2023, the recent delivery of a Beechcraft King Air 360 turboprop to Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center (CBCC) based in California, United States. This aircraft marked the 100th Beechcraft King Air 360 turboprop delivered worldwide. 

“We take pride in providing aircraft solutions for our customers with the latest in aviation technology,” said Lannie O’Bannion, the senior vice president of Global Sales and Flight Operations at Textron Aviation. “The King Air family of aircraft is renowned for its versatility and reliability, and this 100th delivery of the 360 is an exciting milestone in the continued success of a legendary product.” 

With its rich history dating back to 1964 and over 7,800 units delivered worldwide, the King Air is the world’s best-selling in the business turboprop category, serving a wide range of roles, including military, commercial, and special missions. The updated King Air 360 was first introduced in August 2020 and features an improved cabin altitude level, a new autothrottle, and a redesigned cabin. 

In September 2023, Textron inked a record contract with NetJets to deliver up to 1,500 additional Cessna Citation business jets over the next 15 years, with the operator also slated to be the launch customer for the upcoming Citation Ascend.
