A spat between husband and wife forced a Lufthansa A380 to divert to Delhi after the argument became disruptive.

Flight LH 772 departed Munich International Airport (MUC) at 23:24 local time and headed for its intended destination, Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) in Bangkok, on November 28, 2023.

However, the flight never made it to Bangkok after the unexpected disturbance erupted mid-flight.

According to The Indian Express, a 53-year old man was seen shouting at his wife, and things took a turn for worse when he started to burn her blanket with a lighter.

The wife then asked help from the cabin crew, and the flight sought permission to land at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in India.

The couple reportedly resolved their issues at Delhi Airport, and were sent back to Munich.
