McCauley Propeller Systems has announced the first delivery and entry into service of its newest C780 propeller for the Beechcraft King Air B300 executive aircraft.
Beechcraft confirmed on September 19, 2023, that the new propeller was fitted successfully and installed at Textron Aviation’s Tampa Service Center.
The first Beechcraft to be fitted with the new high-performance propeller was a King Air 350 owned by ExecuJet Charter Service, based in Florida.
The new propeller, which features four aluminum swept blades and a 105-inch diameter, achieved Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certification in July 2023.

ExecuJet provides full concierge private air charter services to its customers with a fleet of aircraft that includes the Dassault Falcon 900 and Hawker 800XP.

With the new C780 propeller, King Air B300 series owners and operators will experience propeller weight savings of more than 50 pounds and increased takeoff and climb performance.
Those on board the Beechcraft King Air B300 model will also notice reduced noise in the cabin and cockpit.
The new propeller also comes with Textron Aviation’s 4,000 hours or 36-month limited propeller warranty.
