Scoot signed a letter of intent with aircraft lessor Azorra to lease nine Embraer 190-E2 aircraft.
The low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA) expects the aircraft between 2024 and 2025. It will become the first Singaporean airline to operate the E190-E2.

The new aircraft ensures that Scoot is ready for growth by enhancing our connectivity in the region and support the further development of our Singapore hub.”
