Not all cats who wander are lost. Such is the tale of one feline who was reunited with its owner after wandering around the cabin of a United Airlines flight.

The fur-tunate ending took place on a United Airlines flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on December 30, 2022.

A cat belonging to one of the passengers was found wandering around the first class cabin of the aircraft.

A video uploaded by StoryfulViral shows a flight attendant using the PA system to get the attention of the owner of a cat “who is running around the airplane”.

Another flight attendant picked up the cat, who seemed to be unimpressed that its mid-air jaunt was cut short.

The flight attendant then tried to walk down the aisle while carrying the cat, showing  it to passengers so that its owner might recognize him. At one point, the cat can be seen wriggling free from the flight attendant’s grasp.

No claw enforcement was needed, as the cat’s owner eventually came to the front of the aircraft to claim the roving pet.
