The AZ code will be applied to the following Lufthansa Group’s flights:

  • Frankfurt / Munich – Delhi
  • Frankfurt / Munich – Mumbai
  • Munich – Seoul

At the same time, Lufthansa’s passengers will be able to take advantage of the single ticket benefits to reach the following destinations in ITA Airways’ network:

  • Rome Fiumicino – Accra
  • Rome Fiumicino – Dakar
  • Rome Fiumicino (FCO) – Delhi

“The increased number of intercontinental destinations accessible through this codeshare agreement further strengthens synergies between ITA Airways and the Lufthansa Group, enhancing connections between Italy and key markets such as Africa and Asia,” said a spokesperson for ITA Airways

They added: “This partnership offers passengers a wider, more integrated, and efficient global network, granting them reciprocal point accrual in each other’s frequent flyer programs.”
