About Bombardier

Bombardier builds business jets and nothing else, a focus the Montreal-based manufacturer arrived at by selling off its trains, commercial aircraft and recreational products over two decades. The bet is on the top of the market: its Global 7500 and Global 8000 fly farther and faster than anything else in service, with the Global 8000 certified to Mach 0.94, making it the fastest civil aircraft since Concorde.

The Challenger line covers the super-midsize and large-cabin segments beneath the Globals, and the company backs the fleet through an expanding worldwide service network, a business Bombardier has grown deliberately as new-aircraft margins tighten. Final assembly is in Toronto, with completions in Montreal.
