A section of SpiceJet employees staged a brief protest at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) on September 3, 2021, due to salary issues, as reported by the Economic Times.

As per a representative of SpiceJet, the matter has been resolved, and flight operations remain usual.

“The issue with a section of SpiceJet employees at the Delhi airport has been resolved, and the employees have returned back to work,” a SpiceJet representative told Aerotime in a written statement. “SpiceJet’s flight operations remain normal.”

SpiceJet introduced pay cuts from March 2020 and has not reinstated the pre-COVID period salaries for its employees yet.
