GOAL delivers IndiGo its new ATR 72-600
German-based GOAL Aircraft Leasing successfully delivered a new ATR 72-600 to InterGlobe Aviation's IndiGo Airlines on August 12, 2021.
The aircraft has been leased to IndiGo for a period of eight years, accelerating the expansion of its regional fleet.
Indigo reported a record-breaking loss of INR 3,174 crore ($426.3 million) for their Q1 results of 2021, attributing COVID-19 and expensive fuel as the primary factors.
According to planespotters.net, IndiGo currently operates a fleet of 238 aircraft including 28 ATR 72-600s, 170 Airbus A320s, and 40 Airbus A321s.
