Singapore Airlines (SIA1) (SINGY) is launching seasonal flights from Singapore to Seattle, USA and Vancouver, Canada from December 2, 2021 to February 15, 2022.

These flights will operate four times weekly, with two of the weekly Seattle-Vancouver-Singapore flights operating as Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) services, passengers who meet the requirements a quarantine-free entry into Singapore.

Seattle and Vancouver will be the latest additions to the quarantine-free VTL network options for passengers who wish to travel to and from North America, on top of Los Angeles and New York.

“With the new Singapore-Vancouver-Seattle flights and the conversion of San Francisco-Singapore to a VTL service, SIA customers can enjoy even more seamless travel options to North America during the year-end holiday season,” commented JoAnn Tan, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines (SIA1) (SINGY) in an online statement dated October 11, 2021.

“SIA will continue to monitor the demand for air travel, and adjust its services accordingly.”

Flight SQ28 will depart from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)  at 0915 local time, arrive at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) at 0730 local time, and depart Vancouver at 0840 local time before arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) at 0930 local time.

The airline will also operate SQ27, a twice-weekly Seattle-Vancouver-Singapore service that is not a designated VTL flight. This would cater to passengers who are ineligible to enter Singapore under the VTL arrangement, which means they will have to undergo quarantine procedures.
