The luxury adventure travel company Abercrombie & Kent has launched one of its most ambitious private jet tours of the world.

Curated as an adventure of “firsts” the trip will take in the sights of multiple continents with the emphasis on remote destinations few travelers have yet to visit.

Abercrombie & Kent founder Geoffrey Kent has picked the destinations himself and admits that there are some locations on the itinerary that, even as a seasoned traveler, he has never been to.

“This adventure takes us around the world on one of the most compelling itineraries I’ve ever created, with nearly every stop well off the typical tourist paths – with several places I’ll be visiting for the first time,” explains Kent. “We will be among the first to experience a private tea ceremony in Kanazawa’s Kenroku-en Garden, enjoy an audience and dinner with the King of Ladakh and take part in a private parade in Malta as the guests of honor — and that’s only the beginning.”

In Japan, the group of explorers will visit Kanazawa and dine at Ketataisha Shrine with a performance of the Sacred Shinto dance.

They will also visit the former Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh and take in a central Asian polo match put on specially for Abercrombie & Kent guests.

In Europe, the group will relive Malta’s fascinating Second World War history with private visits to the Lascaris war rooms and the underground tunnels used to move materials.

The trip will also take in Senegal’s stunning Pink Lake, following the route of the Dakar Rally by 4×4 vehicle, then take in a somber visit to Goree Island by private ferry.

On Saint Helena Island, one of the most remote islands on earth, the group will trace Napoleon’s footsteps, visiting the house where the deposed emperor spent his final years.

And if that wasn’t enough the travelers will also fly to Uruguay and visit Easter Island’s iconic moai statues.

The 46 guests will travel on a privately chartered Boeing 757 with custom-designed Italian leather seats that open to fully lie-flat beds 6.5′ long, each equipped with a personal massage system, four-way adjustable headrest and lumbar support and a dedicated cabin crew with a crew-to-guest ratio of 1:7.

The tour, named “Around the World with Geoffrey Kent: An Inspiring Expedition by Private Jet”, kicks off on October 13, 2024, and ends on November 7, 2024.

The trip costs $184,950 per person, double occupancy, and more details can be found on the Abercrombie & Kent website.

The adventure will begin in Portland and end in Los Angeles, United States.
