In the latest announcement from Farnborough International Airshow 2026, Aerolíneas Argentinas has secured a lease agreement with Aviation Capital Group for six upcoming Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft.
On July 23, 2026, the Argentinian flag carrier and US-based aircraft lessor confirmed that a contract had been signed at the airshow to deliver the first 737-10 from Aviation Capital Group’s Boeing orderbook in 2028.
Aerolíneas Argentina is looking to bolster operations at its “busy” Buenos Aires hubs of Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP) and Ezeiza Airport (EZE).
The two Buenos Aires hubs serve destinations within Argentina and across the border to South America.
“These aircraft are a key part of our 2027-2031 fleet plan and will allow us to add capacity on high-demand domestic and regional routes, improve operating efficiency and continue offering a more competitive product to our passengers,” Fabián Lombardo, President and CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas said. “This agreement reflects Aerolíneas Argentinas’ commitment to building a more modern, efficient and sustainable fleet for the years ahead.”
Aviation Capital Group first ordered Boeing’s 737 MAX 10 in 2017 at the Paris Air Show, initially purchasing 20 jets. According to ch-aviation data, the lessor’s orderbook now includes 56 737-10s.
The company is among several launch customers and anticipates receiving its first MAX 10 later this year once Boeing has secured certification with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

On the first day of Farnborough Airshow 2026, Aviation Capital Group also announced it would lease seven 737-10s to Japanese carrier, Skymark Airlines.
The first aircraft is scheduled to deliver to Skymark in 2028 from ACG’s orderbook. Skymark currently flies a fleet of 30 737-800s and 737-8s.
