Air Tahiti has become the second carrier to take delivery of a new ATR 72-600, featuring the planemaker’s HighLine All-Business Class cabin.
On October 13, 2026, ATR confirmed that the new ATR 72-600 with operate its first commercial flights among the islands of French Polynesia from December 8, 2026.
The ATR HighLine All-Business Class cabin features 26 seats in a 1-by-1 configuration with every passenger onboard given direct aisle access.
According to ATR, the aircraft will support the launch of ‘Air Tahiti Signature’, a new premium service designed to link Tahiti with some of French Polynesia’s most desirable destinations, including Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa.

The cabin also features private rows for couples with enhanced privacy and increased personal space, dedicated storage and USB A+C charging ports for all passengers.
At Paris Air Show 2025, ATR announced that Air Tahiti had selected the all-business cabin interior for one of its four newly ordered ATR 72-600 aircraft.
At the time, Edouard Wong Fat, CEO of Air Tahiti, stated that the airline was not only renewing its fleet but “launching a whole new travel experience”.
Air Tahiti plans to use its all-business ATR 72-600 aircraft on both scheduled flights and charter missions.

In a statement, an ATR spokesperson said: “It is another example of how the ATR 72-600 can adapt to different ways of connecting people and places. The same aircraft platform trusted for regional connectivity is now helping create a more exclusive travel experience, with the flexibility to operate both scheduled services and selected charters.”
According to ch-aviation data, Air Haiti currently operates 10 ATR 72-600s, with two more on order, and two ATR 72-600s, with two further aircraft yet to be delivered.
The latest delivery follows the entry into service of the world’s first ATR 72-600 in ATR HighLine All-Business Class configuration with Malaysia’s Berjaya Air earlier this year.
