Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a major aircraft leasing firm, has placed an order for 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, split into half B737 MAX 10 and half B737 MAX 8s.

This deal, which brings ACG’s 737 MAX order book to 121 aircraft, is the single largest order to date for the MAX 10 version of Boeing’s narrowbody aircraft. It also represents a doubling of ACG’s commitment to the B737 MAX 10 model, building on the lessor’s pre-existing order for 25 of the type.

Although no specific details regarding the order’s amount or the delivery calendar were shared in the official announcement, Thomas Baker, ACG’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President, referred to the lessor’s ability to place B737 MAX aircraft with its customers within the 2026 to 2033 timeframe.

Based in the Greater Los Angeles area, California, Aviation Capital Group is a fully owned subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation, a Japanese financial conglomerate. According to data from ch-aviation, as of January 2026, the lessor has a portfolio of around 500 owned, managed or committed aircraft.
