Embraer has delivered the first Praetor 600E executive jet to its fleet launch partner Flexjet, 19 months after signing a $7 billion agreement for 182 aircraft plus 30 options.
On September 18, 2026, Flexjet declared that the “milestone delivery continues a success story we have had with Embraer that began back in 2003″.
“Embraer’s unwavering commitment to innovation, exemplified by the Praetor 600E, continues to deliver the breakthroughs that enable us not only to meet those expectations, but exceed them,” Michael Silvestro, Flexjet’s CEO said.
At Flexjet’s request, the new aircraft has been fitted with Smart Window and equipped with a 42-inch 4K OLED monitor, enabling video conferencing and high-resolution video streaming.
In a press release, Flexjet confirmed that it expects to receive 12 Praetor 600Es by the end of the year. Flexjet will also receive its first Praetor 500E later this year and is already taking delivery of Phenom 300E light jets.
Embraer unveiled the Praetor 600E, alongside the Praetor 500E, in February 2026, promising a “series of enhancements designed to elevate the customer experience”.
In April 2026, Embraer’s Praetor 600E received a trio of type certification approval from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
In 2019, Embraer also selected Flexjet as the fleet launch customer for both the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600.

Flexjet’s initial order in February 2025 included a number of Phenom 300E light jets, as well as an unspecified quantity of the larger Praetor 500 and 600.
At the time, the order was described as both the largest executive jet order ever placed by FlexJet and the largest single order received in its entire history by Embraer Executive Jets.
