Embraer unveiled the Praetor 500E and 600E, the latest iteration of its best-selling executive jet family at a broadcast event on February 24, 2026.

The new mid-sized and super mid-sized executive jets, which are expected to enter service in Q1 2029, represent a significant evolution of the Praetor 500 and 600 family of aircraft, particularly when it comes to cabin design.

The new Praetor 500E and 600E will feature a high-tech cabin environment, with a sophisticated digital cabin management system which will be possible to control through multiple channels, including voice interface, tech panels located on the upper section of the cabin and a mobile app.

Technology has also been applied to cabin monuments in order to boost comfort and versatility. The new Praetor jets will have electric-assisted seats which will be possible to switch into lounge mode. The divan onboard can also be swiftly converted into a bed with a single movement.

But perhaps the most prominent new feature is the “Smart Window”, which will be unique to the Praetor 600E and is a first in the industry, according to the Brazilian manufacturer. This is essentially a 42-inch, 4K OLED touchscreen mounted on the side of the cabin, which allows passengers to visualize all sorts of content, from the outside views being fed by high-resolution cameras, to different types of digital entertainment.

Both aircraft models will also have redesigned galleys offering additional space, as well as a state-of-the-art avionics suite, which includes an active turbulence reduction and Embraer Enhanced Vision System (E2VS).
