An Emirates Airbus A380-800 en route to Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD) made its way back to Dubai International Airport (DXB) after the aircraft ran into engine trouble.

The departure of flight EK 412 out of DXB Airport on October 16, 2023 was relatively straightforward, until the aircraft, registration A6-EVF, reached a flight level of 25,000 feet above sea level.

As per Aviation Herald, passengers and crew heard a number of compression stalls. After conducting a series of checklists, the flight crew decided to return to Dubai.
