Emirates has announced plans to increase its services to Tokyo’s Narita International Airport (NRT) by adding a second daily flight from May 1, 2026, using a retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER.

In a statement issued on February 5, 2026, Emirates confirmed that the new flight, EK320, will leave Dubai at 22:30 local time and reach Tokyo Narita at 13:30 local time the next day.

The return flight, EK321, will take off from Tokyo Narita at 21:30 local time and land in Dubai at 03:50 local time the following day.

According to the carrier, the second daily flight will offer passengers more options for multi-destination travel, including the convenience of a stopover in Dubai.

Passengers traveling eastbound on the new Narita service will arrive in the afternoon, supporting shorter connection times from major European and Middle Eastern markets.

Meanwhile, travelers heading west from Tokyo Narita will enjoy an early morning arrival in Dubai, allowing for smooth onward connections to key destinations in Europe, Africa and South America, such as Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, and Brazil.

The four-class Boeing 777-300ER features upgraded interiors with new design elements, including modern colour palettes, specially designed Ghaf Tree motifs, and wood finishes across all cabins, the airline said.

It is equipped with 260 of the latest Economy seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, and eight First Class Suites.

Emirates has been operating in Japan since 2002 and currently runs three daily flights to Tokyo Narita (NRT), Tokyo Haneda (HND), and Osaka (KIX) on a mix of Boeing 777s and A380s.

Emirates said that, starting from May 2026, it will provide over 22,500 weekly seats to and from Japan, with 28 weekly flights serving these three airports.
