Eve Air Mobility, Embraer’s advanced air mobility arm, has announced the location of its first production facility, which will be located in the town of Taubaté, in Sao Paulo state, Brazil. 

The new manufacturing center, which is not far from Embraer’s headquarters in Sao Jose de Campos, will be built within one of the firm’s existing facilities and is adjacent to one of the country’s major communication axes. 

In 2022, Embraer partnered with Porsche Consulting, a subsidiary of the German sports car manufacturer, to define its manufacturing setup, drawing expertise from Porche’s decades of experience in automotive manufacturing and supply chain management. 

As of July 2023, Eve Air Mobility has an order book of 2,770 eVTOLs. Certification and entry into service is currently expected for 2026.
