Gulfstream Aerospace has completed its 100th Starlink Wi-Fi aircraft installation less than a year after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved the modification on certain jets.
On September 3, 2025, the executive jet manufacturer confirmed that a G650ER at the company’s Fort Worth Alliance Service Center in Texas became the 100th aircraft fitted with Elon Musk’s high-speed internet service.
The FAA initially granted supplemental type certification to install Starlink on the G650 and G650ER, however this has been extended to include other Gulfstream aircraft.
To date, Gulfstream has earned similar certifications from the FAA to install Starlink service on the G800, G700, G600, G500, G550 and GV models with plans to add more.
Gulfstream customers also have the option of Starlink installations on in-production G800, G700, G600 and G500 aircraft.

Starlink offers high-speed in-flight connectivity, which delivers latency less than 90 milliseconds and download speeds of 100 – 250 Mbps.
Several airlines have also signed contracts with SpaceX to install Starlink on their aircraft fleet including Hawaiian Airlines, Qatar Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
