JetZero announced on August 31, 2026, that it has secured $100 million in additional capital through a senior secured term loan facility.

The deal was led by investment firm Pinegrove Credit Partners, backed by Brookfield and HRTG Partners, and Silicon Valley Bank, which is a division of First-Citizens Bank.

The funds will be used to continue with development of the Z4, a blended wing body aircraft capable of carrying around 250 passengers over distances of 5,000 nautical miles.

The deal adds a significant amount to JetZero’s war chest. So far, the Long Beach, California-based startup has raised around $200 million from several investors and through its participation in government-backed military research programs.

“This facility is targeted for pace,” said Tom O’Leary, JetZero CEO and co-founder in a press release. “Through this facility, we will fund tooling and production facilities in North Carolina, advancing aerospace innovation and reindustrializing America.”

JetZero is likely to go through further rounds of fundraising, as it has several major projects underway which will require substantial amounts of capital. These include the building of its first demonstrator aircraft, which it will call Jet1, and the construction of a greenfield manufacturing facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.
