For a moment it sadly looked like only Airbus would be announcing new deals at the Paris Air Show this year, but on June 18, 2025, Embraer swung into action with a huge order.
Around midday, Embraer kicked off a press conference where it confirmed the US regional carrier SkyWest Airlines had placed an order for up to 110 E175s.
Moments later the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer also revealed that South African carrier Airlink will lease 10 new Embraer E195-E2s from Azorra.
And there could be even more to come from Embraer later in the day and also a possible announcement from Airbus.
Among the biggest stories from day two at Paris Air Show were the following:
- Vietjet signs an MoU for 100 Airbus A321neos with option for 50 more planes
- The Netherlands signed up for the Embraer C-390 aeromedical system
