A disagreement between two passengers on a Ryanair flight erupted into a physical altercation.

Footage of the fight was shared on social media where it was claimed that one of the passengers is American and the other British.

The ugly scenes reportedly occurred on a flight from Malta to London-Stansted Airport (STN) as passengers attempted to separate the two men.

According to a witness tempers flared after one man refused to let the other pass through the aisle.

“The British man wouldn’t let the American man pass through to get to his window seat and then some words and swears were exchanged before a scuffle broke. The flight was delayed two hours everyone was annoyed,” the witness told the Mail Online

In the video one of the men fighting can be seen grabbing the neck of the other passenger as people shout for the two men to “calm down”.

During the European summertime thousands more people fly to reach their holiday destinations.

With increased numbers of travelers, the aviation industry is placed under more strain which can result in flight delays or cancellations.

These frustrations can lead to more unruly behavior during the summer season as passengers experience increasingly stressful situations.
