SWISS launches its first ever nonstop route to Seoul

SWISS

Swiss International Air Lines, aka SWISS, has announced that it will be launching a new nonstop service between Zürich (ZRH) and Seoul (ICN), starting from May 7, 2024.

This new thrice-weekly service is going to be the first ever direct link to the South Korean capital operated by the Swiss flag carrier.

On this new route, SWISS will deploy its veteran four-engine Airbus A340-300 aircraft, with a four-class configuration featuring 8 first, 42 business, 21 premium economy and 144 economy class seats respectively, totalling 215 seats. Travel time will be 11 hours and 45 minutes, with flights leaving Zurich at 13.40 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and returning from Seoul Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9.55 (all times local).

Seoul is not the only long-haul destination due to be added to SWISS’ network map this summer season. In September 2023, the airline also announced the start of nonstop flights to Washington-Dulles (IAD) and Toronto-Person (YYZ).
