The Gulfstream G650ER flies 7,500 nautical miles nonstop, the range that let it set more than 125 city-pair speed records, including the first nonstop business jet flight from New York to Hong Kong over the North Pole. Production ended in February 2025 after Gulfstream delivered more than 500 aircraft across the G650 family, closing a 13-year run that redefined the top of the market.
Introduced in 2014 as the extended-range version of the G650, the ER became the aircraft of choice for the world's largest charter and fractional fleets, meaning shared-ownership operators such as NetJets, and it remains the most numerous ultra-long-range jet flying. Strong residual values, the resale prices used aircraft command, have kept the fleet trading briskly since the line closed.

In its production years the G650ER out-ranged everything until the Bombardier Global 7500 arrived in 2018, and its role at the top of the line has now passed to the G800. On the used market it competes with early Global 7500s and late-model Falcon 8Xs, where its fleet size and support network keep it the default choice for buyers who want ultra-long range without a new-aircraft wait, a queue that currently runs two to three years.
