An Air Canada passenger is claiming that he was blacklisted by the airline because of a 2021 incident in which he and another passenger spoke up about a cabin crew’s misconduct.

The passenger, who goes by the TikTok username @acidrayne007, uploaded a video of himself at an undisclosed airport, sharing a very strong message.

“Air Canada supports sexual assault on women. And here’s why,” the passenger said.

From there, he recounted how he just tried to check in for a flight, and was told by an Air Canada staff that he had been blacklisted. All he can ever recall happening was an incident in 2021 when he and another passenger reported on a male cabin crew’s misconduct towards a female passenger.

The passenger claimed that on December 20, 2021, he took flight AC 313 from Montreal Airport (YUL) to Vancouver International Airport (YVC).

He said that, while chatting with a fellow passenger about Star Wars, they witnessed a male cabin crew grope a sleeping passenger on the overnight flight.

In a more in-depth interview, the passenger explained that after they had reported the incident, events turned around on them and they were accused of causing a disturbance on the flight.

In another video post, the passenger commended Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet, which he said accommodated him after he discovered he was blacklisted by Air Canada.

Air Canada has yet to release an official statement regarding the matter, but has told The Daily Mail that they are investigating the case.

The passenger’s video uploads have been met by a number of  comments of support, with many remembering the incident, and most tagging Air Canada to provide an explanation.
