The latest order and delivery results from Airbus have revealed a transaction for seven A350-1000 aircraft from a mystery buyer.

On September 5, 2025, the European manufacturer published its August statistics, indicating that 99 aircraft had been ordered.

The seven Airbus A350-1000s, purchased on August 22, 2025, were marked as being for an “undisclosed” customer, while separate orders for A320neos on August 21, 2025, and August 20, 2025, were from a “private” buyer.

A previously announced order from Dublin-based lessor Avolon for 15 A330-900neo and 75 A321neo aircraft completed the results for the month.

Airbus also confirmed that it had delivered 61 aircraft to 39 customers, bringing the total for the year to 434.

With only four months of the year remaining, Airbus will need to work hard to achieve its target of around 820 aircraft deliveries for the year.

On July 30, 2025, Airbus published its half-year results, reaffirming its commitment to achieving around 820 aircraft deliveries for the year.

In August 2025, Airbus delivered 67 jets, whereas in June 2025, it delivered 63, and 51 in May 2025.

In April 2025, the CEO of Airbus, Guillaume Faury, claimed that 17 aircraft had been parked while awaiting engines and in June 2025, there were thought to be around 40. It is unclear how many engineless jets are still being held at Airbus facilities.
