Spanish flag carrier Iberia has unveiled a new special livery to mark its 100th anniversary, a milestone the airline will reach on June 28, 2027.
The livery, which will be applied to one of the airline’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft, will simply feature the number 100 in a large red font over the usual white background on each side of the fuselage at the front of the aircraft.
This initiative was announced during an event at the “Espacio Iberia” venue in central Madrid, Spain, on September 23, 2026, and kicked off the airline’s centennial celebrations. Throughout 2027, the Spanish airline plans to showcase its history and host activities at different venues throughout Spain and Latin America.
During the event, which the airline labelled “100 Días para 100 Años” (“100 days for 100 years”), Iberia confirmed that the Starlink rollout is advancing at good pace and that, starting in 2027, it will begin to roll out new cabin interiors across its long-haul fleet.
