In October 2017, Ryanair's passenger load factor (PLF) improved 1.0 percentage points to 96%, compared to October 2016. Passenger carriage (measured in revenue passenger kilometers) increased 8% to 11.8million passengers. Rolling annual traffic grew 12% to 128.2 million customers.

Ryanair's chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs noted that “the carrier's traffic figures for October include the flight cancellations announced in September 2017.
