Russia's United Aircraft Corporation increased revenue by 51% and almost doubled the gross profit, according to the interim condensed consolidated statement for the first six months of 2017.

Revenue increased by 51% and reached 179.7 billion rubles ($3.126 billion) in the first half of 2017, compared to 118.8 billion rubles ($2.058 billion) in the same period in 2016, gross profit increased to 44.4 billion rubles ($0.769 billion) from 22.3 billion rubles ($0.388 billion).

An increase in high-margin export deliveries and an increase in the work performed to repair and modernize aircraft contributed to a positive growth in revenue and gross profit; the trend is expected to continue in the second half of 2017.
