Low-cost carrier Scoot has unveiled a collaboration with Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, bringing movie-themed cabin interiors and exclusive merchandise to two aircraft in its fleet.
Scoot, a Singapore-based subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, announced on June 18, 2026, that an Airbus A321neo and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner will feature Spider-Man branding through September 13, 2026.
What passengers will experience
Both aircraft will be fitted with exterior decals and special headrest covers inside the cabin. Music from the film will also play onboard. Passengers can purchase exclusive merchandise during their flight, including a flight tag or foldable eco bag.
At Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), Spider-Man installations will greet travelers at the check-in counters in Terminal 1.
Where the themed aircraft will fly
The themed Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate its inaugural flight to Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) on June 30, 2026. The Airbus A321neo will follow with its first branded service to Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) on July 1, 2026.
After the inaugural flights, both aircraft will be rostered on routes to selected cities in Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand. However, as part of regular operations, the themed jets may also appear on other routes, meaning some passengers could find themselves on a Spider-Man flight without having specifically booked one.
Calvin Chan, Chief Commercial Officer at Scoot, said the collaboration reflects the airline’s approach to customer experience.
“Beyond our continual efforts to deliver quality service and value, this collaboration demonstrates Scoot’s commitment to constantly push boundaries and look for innovative ways to delight our customers,” Chan said.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the latest installment in Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man franchise, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring Tom Holland and Zendaya. The film follows the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
